Open Feedback: An innovative way of adhering to feedbacks

Haptic Feedback from users results in crucial yet decisive in adhering results for a better outcome in any venture. It turns out; there is a certain application that helps to achieve this task. Meet Open Feedback which is a lucrative platform that lets attendees of any lecture or TALK convey their feedback anonymously. While data is regarded to be a crucial aspect in terms of credibility, the founders of Open Feedback have found a new and lucrative way of having the host interact with its listeners or attendees and improve on their overall say about the conference or training.

While the venture is quite interesting, Venture Mirror had a brief interaction with Hugo Greese, OpenFeedback founder, on learning more about the company and its workabouts. Below are the excerpts from our brief interaction about the company and other fields surrounding it.

What is the start-up/product? Give us a brief description of it.

Open Feedback is an open-source SaaS to facilitate athering attendees feedback. Attendees anonymously give Feedback on talks with a one-click anonymous vote. The Open Feedback admin allows you to add/edit talks & speakers, moderate user comment and much more.

How many co-founders are there? Please introduce them and their backgrounds.

One. I was the sole person that founded the company.

Open Feedback

How did you come up with the idea? What motivated you to do this?

The same “chip” principle was used for physic conferences where the printed sheet was displayed, and attendees put colour chips inside them as with Open Feedback. So it’s just a digital version of this.

Who is your target market? Why do you think your product will appeal to them?

Conferences, Meetups, Training. It’s a great way to improve your speaking skills and talks.

Who are your competitors? How are you different from them?

In some extent, Sched maybe but OpenFeedbck is kind of unique.

What are the plans with the product/start-up? Any new features you are planning on?

The next prominent feature has an organisation that shares a common voting form for the whole organisation as well as an editor. This will allow the company to use it much more easily. The next big feature is to improve the interaction with other services, like, where you could directly import talks inside Open Feedback without pain.
