What is the startup / product / venture about? Give us a brief description of it.
Dowork.ai is a product company where we build a software solution for project estimations.
It’s common knowledge that in project management and especially in the sphere of software development, estimating a project is a rather difficult task. There are too many variables present and they make it especially hard to estimate a project’s scope, timeline and costs.
With Dowork.ai, any team can estimate a project right at the beginning of the project lifecycle. Teams can break down bigger projects into smaller milestones, tasks and subtasks as well as collaborate while adding their own time estimations. The platform will help calculate the costs per task and per project, understand which departments should be handling specific tasks and what other resources should be needed to complete the project successfully. Eventually, project teams can share their estimations with any stakeholder with just one click through an auto-generated public URL. The latter is editable which means every time the team makes any changes to the project, the URL will update itself – so no more back and forth communication and multiple spreadsheets!
We are planning on launching more tools that will empower Project Managers and executives to do better project estimations and keep both their clients and their teams happy.

How many co-founders are there? Please introduce them and their backgrounds.
I am the only founder with 15+ years of experience in software development in leading tech companies. I am also co-founder of the media monitoring platform Rumors Monitoring actively generating leads and providing services for local and international media markets.
How did you come up with the idea? What motivated you to do this?
As a software engineer me and my teammates have always struggled with unrealistic deadlines and project estimation that was being made due to the professional expertise of PMs. Deadlines are essential for any project and business and on the other hand, unrealistic deadlines create pressure on teams, resulting in burnouts, project and revenue failure. Do you know that 66% of software projects exceed their budget and 33% miss the deadline?
So how to fix fair and reasonable deadlines? This was the question and the pain point I decided to come up with.
It’s pretty hard to come up with estimates, especially in software development. The multiple variables and dependencies make it hard to calculate a project’s timeline and costs.
This is where I and my team decided to build a software product that would help teams like ours with project estimations.
And now Dowork.ai helps to estimate numerous projects for thousands of companies worldwide.

Who is your target market? Why do you think your product will appeal to them?
Our product is for professionals who deal with projects and need accurate estimation from the beginning. Main target groups are PMs, mid and high level executives, entrepreneurs. Our solutions are unique with both usability and long term planning.
Dowork.ai was created to emphasize that explicit estimation is the first step for any project success.
For now we are focusing on the outsourcing markets and target companies from the US, with the vision to expand in the EU.
Who are your competitors? How are you different from them?
Dowork.ai is sharing the market with other companies prioritizing customer relations, usability and high efficiency of the services.
Our business model is SaaS, free packages are also available, so companies can estimate and track up to 5 projects using our free option (https://dowork.ai/pricing). For bigger companies we have a Pro option with about 150 dollars per month and for enterprises we create exclusive packages to better fit their needs.
What are the future plans with the product/startup? Any new features you are planning on?
Dowork.ai team plans to provide more AI driven solutions and tools to our customers to meet their needs and to solve the problems they face during the project estimation process. We are deploying our AI model and expanding the market share in the coming months, as well as to upgrade existing features due to the feedback and demand.
Our end vision is to create autopilot for PMs, as we plan to become Tesla in project management.
