Unlock the power of video content by hosting Tech Talks, Product Demos, Office Hours, Build in Public, and Recruiting Events via Reach.Live

Ever since 2020, things haven’t been the same for everyone around the world. Especially for corporations to work from home and attend many meetings through video calls and other video conferencing applications, it’s become quite the hassle for anyone to keep track of them. No doubt you could record it and then play it back, but having multiple applications for the same purpose brings out no meaning. Therefore, Reach.Live is a company that aims to do the same but with a twist.

Reach.Live is a product that helps users organize webinars, office hours, video conferring calls, and so many other video calls as per the user’s desires. Moreover, users can save the calls on the platform itself for future reference. Users can use this tool to have their product demos, keynote events, and many such things while having an interactive session with their audiences in the best possible scenario. Venture Mirror had a brief discussion with Akarsh Sanghi, CEO & Founder of Reach.Live, to learn more around the company and its inception. Learn everything about the discussion provided below.

What is the startup / product / venture about? Give us a brief description of it.

A new content network for companies around the world to host live & on-demand Tech Talks, Product Demos, Office Hours to build an enduring tech brand and drive their business forward.

How many co-founders are there? Please introduce them and their backgrounds.

One Founder & CEO: Akarsh Sanghi –

Akarsh Sanghi is an engineer & designer born and brought up in New Delhi, India. Before founding Reach.Live,  he was leading the Growth & Card product teams at N26 Bank in Berlin until August 2019. Before that he worked on special projects at The Studio in collaboration with IDEO & Zalando in Berlin. He holds a Master’s degree from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.

How did you come up with the idea? What motivated you to do this?

We observed that a lot of content from engineers, engineering managers, product & community managers of different companies like Retool, Plaid, Stripe, Scale, Mixpanel, AWS, Digital Ocean and many others are hosting amazing talks about their products/engineering work. But this content is usually scattered over Youtube, Eventbrite, Zoom, Google Meet, company blogs, webinar tools etc. and hard to find afterwards. With so much great content being created – we thought maybe it’s worth creating the largest repository of Technical content – hosted live & on-demand. This is what we want to achieve with Reach.Live.

Who is your target market? Why do you think your product will appeal to them?

Market: Companies which want to host regular Technical Talks, Office Hours, Product demos for their customers & community.
Why: Instead of putting together 5 different tools – we packaged the necessary features in an all in one approach. The ease of use and ability to host their content live & on-demand is an appealing factor for many new companies.

Who are your competitors? How are you different from them?

Zoom, Google Meet, Airmeet – These tools are great but are designed for Video conferencing. Many people have been using them to host office hours, Technical talks, product demos but lacks important features like Post Talk analytics, Event Templates, Team setup etc.

What are the future plans with the product/startup? Any new features you are planning on?

We are working on quite a few amazing features at the moment – recording & showcasing tech talks on demand, workflow integrations, audio only talks, mobile apps, better search and browsing experience, more engagement features and many more exciting improvements under the hood.
