Citonhub is organizing the internet for developers

The internet is not shy of resources, and it’s quite true. If you want to know about anything, it’s merely one google search away. However, with techies and developers of any kind, there has always been constant despair between what they want and how it is provided to them. No matter how much information or resources are viable, bridging the problem and solutions was vital in the most straightforward manner possible. For the same reason, a company named Citonhub is rectifying this in the best possible scenario.

Citonhub is a community forum platform that helps developers of any kind to meet and interact with their target audience. Unlike discord, slack, and other channels, Citonhub is a company that is directly focused on providing a better outlook on the resources received by the developer. It also helps get the necessary information that one might be looking for rather than searches hundreds of pages and still no yield. Users can even earn off this and grow their community platform by linking their social media sites and other platforms for a wholesome outlook to solutions for problems. Speaking with Akinola Ayomide and Owolabi Olutola, the founders of Citonhub, Venture Mirror learned a lot about the company, and we have shared out brief interaction below.

What is the startup / product / venture about? Give us a brief description of it.

Citonhub is a platform for developers to grow community and earn. We are building a platform that brings together everything a developer needs to grow a community in one place.

How many co-founders are there? Please introduce them and their backgrounds.

We are two. Akinola Ayomide is the CTO and Co-founder. Owolabi Olutola is the COO and co- founder.

How did you come up with the idea? What motivated you to do this?

We observed that when people want to get into tech, they find it difficult finding their bearing because community is detached from content. There’s an abundance of resources but little guidance from the community. We made so many iterations and discovered merging communities with Content would help people find their paths in tech.

Who is your target market? Why do you think your product will appeal to them?

Our Target makers are Developer communities, content creators, and every developer that seeks to help others. Our product will appeal to them because we provided a space for them to merge their content with a place to chat and also gave them the ability to earn.

Who are your competitors? How are you different from them?

Our competitors are indirect, and they are platforms where developers currently grow their Communities. E.g Slack, Discord, WhatsApp. We are different because we are tailored towards developers and provided all the features they need in one place.

What are the future plans with the product/startup? Any new features you are planning on?

We are currently working on hiring more engineers and marketers to make our product more suitable for our users.
