NinjaBuzz lets advertisers enter into host-read sponsorship deals within minutes.

The art of communication is perfectly harnessed, through Podcasters. They can be very newsworthy to listen to. They’ve even become a part of our lives as we hear them while doing our daily chores like cooking or workouts. Most of the Podcasters are born due to their passion for talking, and it’s heartwarming to see their dedication to post regularly to help people like us without expecting any monetary rewards.

NinjaBuzz.io is a helping hand for these good-hearted people. It helps the owners of E-Commerce stores to find a podcast that fits the product they are selling and enter into a sponsorship deal with them. At present, these services are available only to English speaking podcasters but will soon be made available to other languages such as the Nordic languages. To know more, check out the interview we prepared with Rasmus Sorensen, Co-founder and CEO, NinjaBuzz.io.

What is the startup / product / venture about? Give us a brief description of it.

We are a matchmaking platform for podcasters and advertisers.

We do two things:

1. We open up an advertising channel that has generally been hard to make use of.

2. We try to help small and medium sized podcasters reach monetization faster.

How many co-founders are there? Please introduce them and their backgrounds.

We are two Co-Founders.

Rasmus Sørensen
Co-founder and CEO

Rasmus has long experience within sales and marketing. He has experience with founding companies and has held international positions in Rocket Internet and PUMA in Germany.

Sergey Bushnyak
Co-founder and CTO

Sergey is a former founder and loves anything Haskell, Rust, PLT/Cryptography, Blockchain, DLT/Hardware, Wireless, SDR related.

How did you come up with the idea? What motivated you to do this?

We originally made a transcription service for podcasters, students and journalists called Focus on Listening (which is still live).

By interviewing many podcasters we found out that as a podcaster it can be very hard to reach monetization as it is difficult for advertisers to discover them.
This is the problem we are trying to solve with NinjaBuzz.io

Who is your target market? Why do you think your product will appeal to them?

Small and medium sized podcasters as we help them to reach monetization faster.

Different kinds of advertisers, but we believe that our platform will be especially useful for eCom stores. An owner of an eCom store can easily go into our platform and find a podcast that fits the product they are selling and enter into a sponsorship deal with them.

Who are your competitors? How are you different from them?

Podbean has a somewhat similar service. However they are mainly focusing on large podcasters with a big audience.

We are trying to help small and medium sized podcasters with reaching monetization faster.

What are the future plans with the product/startup? Any new features you are planning on?

Right now we are focusing on English speaking podcasters, but we will soon also make our service available in other languages such as the Nordic languages.

Also, we are working on making our search functionality even better, so that an advertiser can find a match as fast as possible.
