Pigeon is the software that has CRM, Mail Merge and Auto Follow-ups, which work inside your Gmail. It has an additional Google Docs feature to perform written interviews. Mail merge, auto follow ups, CRM inside your Gmail.

How did you come up with the idea? What motivated you to do this?

I didn’t come up with the idea. Pat of Starter Story began working on Pigeon as a tool he needed to run his email interview process. I acquired Pigeon early 2021.

Who is your target market? Why do you think your product will appeal to them?

Anyone creating content online will benefit from Pigeon. Creators, Newsletter writers, Bloggers, Media companies of all sizes.

Who are your competitors? How are you different from them?

Pigeon has CRM, Mail Merge and Auto Follow Ups.  Streak is a major competitor and doesn’t have automated follow ups yet.  Lots of popular gmail add ons have mail merge but don’t have the CRM component. And Pigeon has a cool google docs feature to do written interviews super easily with.

What are the future plans with the product/startup? Any new features you are planning on?

I’m working on making it better for creators of all types. People who want to sell services via Email as well. Right now you can add in stripe payment links and any payment portal link like paypal.me but I want to make it seamless to integrate these with so you can book calls, or manage services via Email  better than any other CRM.  Right now basic CRMs work for this, and Pigeon is uniquely INSIDE of Gmail.
